If you’re tired of taking surveys to get rewards or points or if you just want to try something new, there are many sites which offer points or rewards simply for clicking on online advertisements. These sites allow you to click on different ads – and you can already earn some money. But are they really legitimate? Let’s have a look at one such site: Get Paid Online.
What is it?
One thing that’s a bit strange, though, is that according to the site, only one payout has been made – perhaps because only one person was able to reach the $25,000 minimum payout amount.
Other services
Get Paid Online actually offers another service for advertisers. It offers cheap advertising for those who would like to get their ads promoted online, and promises 24-hour unique hits, a variety of ways to advertise, and automated transactions. So basically, the service provided by Get Paid Online is not just for those wanting to earn money by clicking ads – it’s also for businesses which would like to have their ads promoted.
The terms
According to Get Paid Online, there are referral fees for those who refer friends or family. The referral fee is up to 10%, and there are no limits on the number of referrals, either.
The site is also strict when it comes to cheating. It is supposed to have an ‘anti-cheating’ system, which can determine if a member is cheating through the creation of a program or emulator for an automated (and not manual) clicking process, or through any act that can maliciously interfere with Get Paid Online’s system.
What we think
From the get go (as soon you visit the site, that is), Get Paid Online seems to be lacking a lot of information. Clicking on the Help and Forum pages does not bring you anywhere, and contacting the site only brings you to ‘submit a ticket’ or ‘view ticket’ options. The site is also pretty basic, with no details regarding payment methods. In fact, the site looks unfinished.
If you want to get real value for your time and effort, you’d be better off signing up for other sites which already have a proven reputation and reliability, such as Pinecone Research, Swagbucks, Ipsos iSay, and more.
